Refund policy
Refunds are not given for change of mind purchases. If you purchase the wrong ebook or audiobook in error and have NOT downloaded it yet, we will happily exchange it for another book of the same value. We are unable to provide exchanges once an ebook or audiobook has been downloaded.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
If your order has been damaged during shipping or lost, please first contact your shipping company. Then reach out to us at deborah@te-damedia.com to help you get a replacement. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so we can make it right. (Not a shipping issue). Any problems with your order must be reported within 5 days of the item being delivered, and include proof of damage and the receipt of the order.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Please note that certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products, special edition books, signed books, ebooks, audiobooks, gift cards, and sale items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at deborah@te-damedia.com.
EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
If you decide to return the product within the 14-day cooling period, you are responsible for the costs of postage and packaging.
EXCEPTION TO THE EU COOLING-OFF PERIOD
“Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m)), you lose your right of withdrawal for digital content once the performance (supply/access) has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment.”
Supply/access includes both downloading and streaming. There is language on all downloadable products where you expressly agree to lose your right of withdrawal by starting the performance.
Should you choose to change your mind and not download the digital product (ebook or audiobook), contact us for a full refund.
ISSUES WITH DOWNLOADS
Having an issue downloading is not a refundable reason. We use BookFunnel to deliver ebooks and audiobooks. If you have trouble and cannot load the book, there are instructions including in your purchase on how to have them help you. The easiest way is to simply contact help@bookfunnel.com.
